Since its inception in 1985, the Hesch Scholarship program has awarded more than $1.2 million in college scholarships to students across the country. Named in memory of the late 1979 AMOA President Wayne E. Hesch, the scholarship program raises funds through raffles held each year at the annual industry show in the spring. Applicants must gain an endorsement from an AMOA member company and many Hesch Scholarship recipients have worked in - or are related to someone engaged in - the coin-operated equipment business.
Applications for the Wayne E. Hesch Memorial Scholarship are accepted through February each year. The form is available by calling AMOA or by downloading it here. Winners are announced in the spring.
