AMOA Innovator Awards and Operator's Choice Award Programs

Do you have an exciting new product or service that is highly “innovative” or “operator-friendly”? Enter the AMOA Innovator Awards Program or the NEW AMOA Operator’s Choice Award program!

AMOA Innovator Awards Program Objective:

  • Recognize the efforts of manufacturers and suppliers in bringing exciting, new products to market for the amusement and entertainment industry

AMOA Operator’s Choice Awards Program Objective:

  • Recognize the efforts of manufacturers and suppliers in bringing exciting, new “operator-friendly” products to market for the amusement and entertainment industry

Criteria:

  • All entries must be an Amusement Expo International exhibitor which includes Laser Tag, Virtual Reality and the National Bulk Vendors Association exhibitors
  • Product entries must have been introduced to the amusement and entertainment trade since the 2020 AEI.
  • Product entries must be in production and available for sale/shipment by AEI 2021.
  • Entries must be working equipment; no prototypes or “mockups”.

 Application Requirements:

  • Fill out the online application (2021 application is not yet available).
  • Be sure to indicate if you are entering the AMOA Innovator Awards Program, AMOA Operator’s Choice Program or Both at the beginning of the application.
  • Fill out the online application and upload any supporting materials such as photos and/or product brochures/spec sheets.
  • Upon submission of your company’s application, instructions will be sent on how to submit your required 3-5 minute presentation for the judging team.
  • Product presentations must be received no later than the deadline (2021 deadline TBA).

 

Judging Process :

  1. Preliminary Judging. During the month of February, ALL entries will be evaluated by an AMOA judging team.  The information submitted in the application along with product presentations will be reviewed and the entry will be judged on areas such as quality, value and innovation for Innovator Award entries and quality, value and operator-friendly features for Operator’s Choice Award entries.
  2. Final Judging. Entries that make the final round of evaluation will be the finalists of the 2021 Innovator Award and Operator’s Choice Award Programs. Judging teams will evaluate finalists on the show floor. Company representatives will be notified in advance on their need to be present for the final evaluation.

    WINNERS will be announced during Amusement Expo International.
